Emperor Ren Zong (1022-63)
Zhi He Yuan Bao 1 cash, cast 1054-55
Diam: 22.6mm, 2.2g
Medium characters, reverse plain
Hartill 16.135
An unremarkable coin, except that the field (area around the hole) on the reverse is higher than the rim - the opposite to normal coins. This does not show up too well on the scan.
Supplied to me by Bob Reis, from the George Fisher collection.
