2-04: Northern Song Dynasty (960 - 1127 AD). Emperor Tai Zong (976 - 997 AD). Obverse: 'Chun Hua yuan bao' in 'Running' script. Minted between 990 & 994. Hartill # 16.28, FD868, S464. This coin's inscription was written by the Emperor himself, he was a noted scholar and calligrapher.
