2-07: Northern Song Dynasty (960 - 1127 AD). Emperor Tai Zong (976 - 997 AD). Obverse: 'Zhi Dao yuan bao', in 'Running' script. Minted between 995 - 997. Hartill # 16.37, FD873, S467. This coin's inscription was written by the Emperor himself, he was a noted scholar and calligrapher.
