A sharp and well preserved Crispus that retains a light and even sheen of silver. The reverse features the popular Camp Gate with turrets (here clearly tripods that were probably braziers for fire/light) and a star between. OB: laureate, draped and cuirassed bust right; 'IVL CRISPVS NOB C'. Rx: Camp Gate; 'PROVIDENTIA CAESS'; in exergue 'SMTS' the mint mark for Thessalonica (Salonika, Greece). RIC 155
Constantinian Era: 313-364 A.D.
