Iceland, Althing 10 Kronur 1930 Millennium

1000 Year Althing Medallic Commemorative. Features the King of Thule and national arms. I need to determine the oldest parliment, the Isle of Man is also credited with a very early democratic governmental system. This series of 3 (2, 5, 10 Kronur) were struck by the Saxon State Mint in Dresden Germany. Struck [10k] privately at the instigation of a Parlimentary committee. Denominations are imprinted on the edge. Apparent toned areas are exagerated in this photo.
For a great background on this series, including detailed description of all features depicted on these coins see the Nov 2017 issue of ANA's "Numismatist" > http://onlinedigitalpublishing.com/publication/?i=447016&ver=html5&p=60
